The two day ‘Principles of Irrigation’ classes are sanctioned by LDAF and the training will assist in preparation for the Irrigation Contractors License Exam which will be administered from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., February 15, 2008 at Efferson Hall, Room 214.  Lunch will be on your own.

 

IA gives 14 CEU’s and LDAF will also give credit to already licensed Irrigation Contractors who want to take the class again.  The instruction covers theory and application of fundamental irrigation principles for agriculture and turf / landscape.  Topics covered include soil-water-plant relationships, advanced hydraulics, electricity, pumps, specialty valves and irrigation equipment.
